Robbro as alerted me to the release of another Panini EFL Limited Edition sticker. To mark Heart Month, British Heart Foundation is proud to be working with Tom Lockyer and Panini on a special limited‑edition football sticker - celebrating Tom’s remarkable return to the pitch and supporting our lifesaving work. The Bristol Rovers defender knows first‑hand how quickly cardiac arrest can strike.
In December 2023, Tom collapsed mid‑match after suffering a cardiac arrest. Thanks to the fast actions of bystanders and club medics, who performed CPR and used a defibrillator, Tom survived.
After spending time in hospital and having an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) fitted, Tom began a long road to recovery. Now back playing professional football, he’s using his experience to help inspire more people to learn CPR and feel confident stepping in during a medical emergency.
Through its partnership with the English Football League (EFL), Panini has created a limited run of shiny Tom Lockyer stickers. These will be exclusively available to fans attending Bristol Rovers’ home match against Grimsby Town on 21 February. Fans who receive a sticker are encouraged to make a voluntary donation in support of our work - helping to fund our vital research into heart and circulatory diseases and lifesaving CPR training.
Our ambassador, Tom Lockyer said: "I’m delighted to be partnering with Panini to bring this limited‑edition shiny sticker to Rovers and EFL fans. It’s even better that we’re doing this to support the British Heart Foundation, of which I’m a proud ambassador. I hope fans enjoy adding this to their collections, all whilst helping the amazing work the BHF does."
Tom has signed some of his Limited Edition stickers and these are available to purchase via the British Heart Foundation eBay store - Tom Lockyer. All proceeds from this sale go to the British Heart Foundation to fund more breakthroughs and help save more lives.
