Phoenix Inferno joined the Major Indoor Soccer League for 1980-81. After 3 seasons they renamed as Phoenix Pride for 1983-84 but folded at the end of the season. Appetito's was a popular lunch spot in the 1980's for high school students that had off-campus lunch.
