Sophie Ingle is not the manager of Wales Women. She was captain for 9 years, but remains a long-standing player, so I'm not sure where that has come from. With respect it seems unlikely that the same error would have been made with the captain of a men's team from one of the home nations. It only takes a minute to check after all.
ReplyDeleteSticker 42 is Gemma Evans performing a sliding tackle. Sticker 49 also shows Gemma Evans with her teammate Laura O'Sullivan.
Thank you for your help, I must admit listing Sophie Ingle as a manager was my fault. That's where the manager sticker was for the England collection. I am Welsh but I'm not too familiar with the women, though I do follow Jess Fishlock and Angharad James(-Taylor) in the NWSL. I'll update the listing for stickers 42 and 49 and I'll be watching the game against Kosovo tonight. Finishing top of the group is something special for any football team.
