29 cards (incl. variations)
Two cards, each measuring 1½" x 2¾" featuring John "Dots" Miller whose major league baseball career seen him represent Easton (1908), Pittsburgh Pirates (1908–1913 - winning a World Series title in 1909), McKeesport Tubers (1908 -on loan from the Pirates), St. Louis Cardinals (1914–1917, 1919) and Philadelphia Phillies (1920–1921), playing a total of 1,589 games. Sometimes referred to as John B. Miller and John D. Miller as well as his nickname "Dots " Miller, his full name was John Barney Miller. His entry in Wikipedia states that Miller was also noted as a soccer player.
Does anyone know anything about his soccer career, which I presume was in the years prior to 1908.
