I have decided to take a break of the Christmas and New Year period. My wife and I are in poor health and over the past year I have struggled to keep on top of all the e-mails I receive. The backlog is now over 300 and if you are waiting for a reply I sincerely apologise for not getting back to you. I have spent many hours every day on my blog since I started it over 9 years ago and I still enjoy the time I am able to dedicate to it. I have a healthy backlog of completed draft posts so there will still be a minimum of 6 new posts a day over the next 10 days or so. I will still be looking out for new or interesting items that pop up from time to time and I will still be updating the Index on 1st January, as I do on the 1st of every month. But it will be the e-mails that will suffer, so this little note is to explain and to apologise to anyone who is waiting for me to reply to them.

To those that celebrate them I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, to those that don't, please take care and stay safe.
