12 cut-outs
You see various cut-outs being sold with very little provenance, stuck to card and offered for sale as unknown football cards. Some cut-outs are meant to be collected, they're numbered, uniform in design and were probably printed one per day, or one per week, already for pasting into a scrapbook. Others were never meant to be cut out and touted as rare or unknown football cards. The badges shown here have been cut from the endpapers of the 1952 publication The Big Book of Football Champions and obviously fall into this second category. I thought I'd show the few I've found so that anyone recognising them as being part of their collection will finally know where they come from. Some are on a white background and some are on a grey background. I presume the book came with a dustcover but all I've been able to find is this picture of the book without one.
