D.C. Thomson / The Rover - Famous Footballers (1968-1970) (03) - Gerry Humphreys

1968-1970
Famous Footballers
D.C. Thomson / The Rover
1013 cut-outs

Mark Hughesdon has informed me that Gerry Humphreys was never at Luton Town, not even on loan. He started his career at Everton, only making 12 appearances in 5 seasons, before moving to Crystal Palace on 8 June, 1970. This is probably where the error crept in but he was only at Selhurst Park until January 1971 (11 appearances) before moving to Crewe Alexandra and then ending his career at Rhyl.

No. 2358 - dated 05 September, 1970
