News coming out of the 2019 Toy Fair at London's Olympia... the UEFA Champions League Match Attax Road To Madrid 19 collection will not be available in the United Kingdom. It seems it's been created for the German and US markets only. Topps say it's release would be too close to the main collection, which came out just a couple of weeks ago. Another example of the contempt Topps has for it's U.K. customers.
Also shows how pointless it was for them to delay the Champions League release until January when the whole of the rest of the world had it months ago!
ReplyDeleteAs someone who almost exclusively collected Match Attax/ Topps products, and it really pains me to say this, but I am glad that (according to reports) they are losing the licence to the Premier League...and it serves them right...their attitude to their collectors is absolutely shocking
I agree totally, I really don't know who the decision-makers are at Topps UK but they are a million miles away from similar guys in Germany and the USA.
