Wolves Official 2018/19 Sticker Album
Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C.
180 stickers
Mike Capewell has provided information on a set of stickers being offered in this season's Wolves programmes, there are 9 in every issue. Any album is available to collect them in and that too comes with 9 stickers. I've included a scan of the album along with the stickers from the programme for the recent game against Southampton but you can see so much more on Mike's website, Wolves in Demand. The last 6 stickers will be released later in the season.
UPDATE (29-10-2018 13:04): Mike has been in touch with some information that some collectors might find relevant:
The 2018-19 sticker album has a small tale to tell. The Burnley programme issue had some programmes that were published with the incorrect stickers, those which were published in the Southampton programme. The club therefore made available the sticker sheet to those that had the incorrect stickers - see link: https://www.wolves.co.uk/news/club/20180929-information-for-supporters-with-duplicate-stickers/
In an attempt to correct matters further a total of 27 stickers were issued with the Watford programme - see link: https://www.wolves.co.uk/news/club/20181019-27-free-official-stickers-in-watford-programme/

Alan, do you know where i can get scans of the sticker sheets that where issued so far ?
ReplyDeleteHi Pedro,
DeleteI've only bought one programme, which is the sheet I've used here, as Cardiff City are featured. I will not be buying any others though.
Thanks Alan, I am interested in this collection because there are many Portuguese players in one English team :)
DeleteHi Pedro,
DeleteI though that was the reason, there are a lot of Portuguese players at Wolves this season. If you go to the game and normally buy a programme a collection like this is a bonus, but if you don't go to the game and you have to buy the programme directly from the club or through eBay it gets really expensive because the programmes are so heavy these days that postage costs are quite expensive. The average cost on eBay is between £4 and £5 for one programme and up to £3 postage.
