Ogden's Cigarettes - General Interest (95) (02)

1902
General Interest (95)
Ogden's Cigarettes
196 cards (43 footballers)

An illustrated checklist. General Interest (95) is an unnumbered series, Tab type, measuring 68mm x 40mm with plain cream backs. A few of these are probably rugby players (Edinburgh Academcials players for instance).
UPDATE (04-05-2016 18:53):  I originally had J. Sharp listed as an Everton player, but Paul Chauveau has informed me that he is actually the Preston North End player of the same name. 1. Hi, you list this set as 1902, but, according to Wikipedia, WS Maxwell played at Stoke from 1895-1901, then moved to Third Lanark..was there an error, or did they just have the photo and decided to use it anyway?

    1. The Cartophilic Society of Great Britain has this set listed as being issued in 1902.
