Boing magazine - Boing Superstars

2009

Boing Superstars
Boing magazine
Finland/Norway/Sweden
134?

I don't know much about these. I believe that Boing was a magazine available in Finland and the cards were issued over a period of time around 2009. The checklist was looking good until I got past 60, where there are quite a few gaps. There also seem to be at least two subsets and the cards I know of from these are list at the end of the main checklist.

Update:  Mark Avenell has sent in some additional information about this collection - three different versions - the cards were issued in Finland, Norway and Sweden and the backs of the cards were in the languages of the issuing country.
I will try and get illustrations of the three different versions of the backs of the cards. Boing magazine - Boing Superstars (2).

  1. Hi Alan,
    I can confirm 169 Gareth Barry Man City.
    I also have Milner silver, Silva gold and Dzeko gold, all Man City but cannot see numbers on them.
    The Milner is branded Kickerz, the Silva and Dzeko are branded Boing, I am also aware of the following but again no numbers;
    Joe Hart silver, Kolarov silver, both Boing.
    Nasri, Aguero, Balotelli, Navas, Y.Toure, all Boing and no other details, thses cards are good up until the end of 2013. I'm not sure about 2014.

    1. Thanks Chris, I think I've found some more information on the Kickerz cards....

  2. I have a couple of links, I think Kickers are Swedish/Norwegian, Boing are the Finnish/Danish versions. They rarely seem to announce who is being released each month but it tends to be between 11 and 14 cards.
