80 base cards
Topps Black and White MLS brings the brand’s signature monochrome treatment to Major League Soccer for the first time. The online-exclusive release strips away colour and heavy design elements, letting dynamic MLS action photography carry every card on a matte finish. Built for photography purists and set builders alike, Topps Black and White MLS pairs an 80-subject base set with a deep run of parallels, inserts, and autographs, all with the same understated elegance that’s made the brand so iconic.
Topps Black and White has been offered as an online-exclusive baseball release for several years and, establishing itself by stripping away colour and design elements to let monochrome photography define the set. 2026 Topps Black and White MLS marks the first time that aesthetic has been applied to Major League Soccer, translating a popular baseball line into a soccer-specific release. This release is ideal for collectors who value photography-driven design as much as the checklist itself. It appeals to MLS collectors looking for an online-exclusive alternative to flagship products, as well as fans of the existing Topps Black and White baseball line excited to see the format expand. Removing colour means each card depends entirely on the strength of its photography, since there is no foil or design element left to fall back on. Bringing that discipline to MLS gives the league its own premium, photography-first release, distinct from the rest of Topps’ MLS lineup.
2026 Topps Black and White MLS spreads its checklist across global tie-ins, rookie-focused inserts, and a deep autograph program. Global Impact spotlights MLS stars who’ve competed on the global stage, while Developmental takes a darkroom-inspired look at the league’s top rookie talent. Golden Hour leads the insert lineup, picking up the same aesthetic as its MLB counterpart. Flashpoint is even harder to find, limited to five subjects and 20 copies each. The autograph lineup runs deep too, with signatures from David Beckham, Lionel Messi, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Antoine Griezmann, Son Heung-Min, Cavan Sullivan and Adri Mehmeti, each numbered down to a 1-of-1.
