The IV Torneo Pentagonal de Football took place in Mexico City from 29 January through to 19 February, 1961. Five teams took part - Club Necaxa, C.D. Oro and C.D. Guadalajara from Mexico, Santos F.C.from Brazil and C.A. Independiente from Argentina.
