Album No. 1 ~ Voetbal-Techniek en Tactiek door C.J. Groothoff (Football Technics and Tactics by C.J. Groothoff)
Phillips Cigarettes
Netherlands
144 photos

Gregory Graetz has asked about this set. It's the first in a collection of eight albums focusing on football and the Olympic Games, and one featuring film stars. I don't have much information, unfortunately the text on the backs of the photos is sometimes very vague.

UPDATE (08-02-2018 12:21):  Three cards identified, thanks to Gregory Graetz.

  1. Hi Alan

Number 46 is "Sheffield United player; Dog on pitch". Which is strange given number 45! (could be the same image given Sunderland play in red and white stripes). best Paul

  2. Hi Paul,
In compiling this incomplete list I've looked at some poor images. I don't remember card 45 and it doesn't seem that I downloaded an image of it but I could have misread it. As you can confirm card 46, I'll remove the description for card number 45.
    Cheers,
    Alan
