A football-related cigarette card that I was unaware of until recently. The back of the card states that the vaudeville star Mr. Gilbey is best known as "Spouty, the Goalkeeper".

UPDATE (22-05-2023 11:08): I've just discovered there are two versions of this card - with and without a series quantity printed on the reverse. I've just added an image of the card without the series quantity.

Following on front the news that the backs of the cards of the UEFA Champions League Match Attax 2018/19 series have glossy backs in Europe and matt backs in North America, Henry Mehring has been in touch to say that the same difference occurred with the 2017/18 collection.
Looking at the two rows of scans above there's probably no visible difference between the two cards on the top row and the two cards on the bottom row, but they are different. The top two cards come from the United Kingdom and are similar to the ones available through most of Europe - they have glossy backs. The cards on the second row come from the version available in North America and have matt backs. Thanks again to Henry Mehring for providing scans of the ones from North America.
