Football cards and stickers issued around the world, from the 1880's to the present day and even some that haven't been issued yet. I don't have any cards for sale, nor do I provide valuations, this blog is just a means of passing on information I have gathered over many decades of collecting. Alan Jenkins.

ReplyDeleteWhat is it about Panini, the UK branch, they really are taking the hit and miss. This was a great chance to show us some England legends, but looking at the album, it looks like just a few...and most of them 1992 onwards. What a surprise..and apparently David James is a legend. No Peter Shilton, Gordon Banks, Ray Clemence..yes David James. There are also a lot of pointless stickers, showing players (female and male) in training shots/outside of football shots/basketball shots!!/pool shots!!. This should have just been a collection of Mens / Womens stickers featuring head shots with strip, some action shots, shiny stickers of present players and lots and lots of England legends...pre 1992, where are there very few. Yes, the shiny stickers look nice, but the UK Panini are on easy street as per normal.

I totally agree. I watched the video, trying to compile a checklist, but the album looks a mess. Some of the portrait stickers look really nice and it seems they're going with parallels with coloured borders (but these are just stickers!!).
