These 'cards' are cut from the inside front cover of Edicione Novaro comics. Most feature various comic characters put Pele might be the only footballer. I have included scans of the Periquita and Aventura (Rawhide) comics that include Pele on the inside front cover but there may be others.

ReplyDeleteThank you for getting in touch. I wasn't aware of the Superman and Batman comic versions. I've managed to track down scans from the Superman comic but I've had no luck in finding the Batman comic.

Hi Alan, I will forward you an image of the Batman Pele Comic PSA graded card when I return from vacation. I do not have the complete Batman comic book just the graded card. All the best, Vern

DeleteClarification - There are (4) 1969 Editorial Novaro Pele's: #728 Superman Comic, #493 Batman Comic, #103 Periquita Comic, and #609 Adventura Comic. The Festival del Mundo de la Historieta Comic book was the Album you were suppose to cut the figuritas out of the original comic book and glue them into. I couldn't figure out how to attach an image of the Editorial Novaro Batman #493 Pele comic.
