Welgar Presents World Wonders
Welgar Shredded Wheat
11 cut outs (4 football)
These items are cut from the back panel of Shredded Wheat boxes. These collectable items seem to be a forerunner to the famous Guinness Book of World Records, first published in 1954, though I can't find any connection with Ross and Norris McWhirter. The twins did run an agency to provide facts and figures, in Norris McWhirter's own words: "to supply facts and figures to newspapers, yearbooks, encyclopaedias, and advertisers". The list is incomplete and although the highest number here is 11, I don't know how many different ones were published.
