300+ cards

I know almost nothing about these cards, I don't even know the proper title of the collection. The backs of all the ones I have seen are blank but the cards are interesting as they all have gold borders. They seem to have been issued by a number of companies and this checklist is a long way short of being completed. I have even checked around some sites of one-club collectors, including FC Bayern München, Boruusia Dortmund, 1.FC Nürnberg, TSV 1860 München but only found two cards amongst them all.

  1. Hi Alan
I can help narrow it down a bit. Re card 134 Rudolf Schönbeck played for St Pauli from the start of the 1949/50 season and left after 3 games of the 1952/53 season. Card 87 refers to Walter Bühler scoring the decisive goal for VfB Stuttgart in the 1949/50 championship final, so in all likelihood these cards are from the 1950/51 season.

    1. Hi Lee,

Thanks for your help, I was thinking 1950-51 too, because of card 87.

      Cheers,

      Alan
