There seems to be two different sets, with nothing to distingiush them. I've numbered them for reference purposes only. The first set was issued in pairs with a set of 12 Animals. The football card may be familiar to some collectors. Even though the player is anonymous it is based on the Johnny Nicholls (West Bromwich Albion) photo taken from an issue of Charles Buchan's Football Monthly.

Another from the large series of flixies, this being a subset of Sports flixies. As with the previous series, these measure 37mm x 35mm.

These were issued in the 1950's, listed in the catalogues as 1959 but they are sometimes listed as 1952 or 1953. The Cardiff City player has a badge on his shirt and the club only used a badge on their shirt during this period, in the 1958-59 and 1959-60 seasons. These acetates were created to be used in a viewer that could project the image greatly enlarged onto a wall. There are 144 'flixies' issued in total with the Football Clubs sub-set being one of 12 covering a wide range of subjects. Special albums with corner slots were issued to hold these small items that measure just 37mm x 35mm.
