Football cards and stickers issued around the world, from the 1880's to the present day and even some that haven't been issued yet. I don't have any cards for sale, nor do I provide valuations, this blog is just a means of passing on information I have gathered over many decades of collecting. Alan Jenkins.

More news on the packet of 71 updates being issued in Germany, and perhaps other countries too.
I'd like to thank Peter Farmer for informing me of this information.
I'd just like to confirm that this collection of 71 stickers is not the complete update set. France has already issued a 9 sticker sheet but only 3 appear in this collection. Belgium are planning to issue 3 stickers, but there's only 1 in this collection. All 4 Italian stickers are here, along with both the German ones.

Panini America Takes 2014 FIFA World Cup Prizm Mobile with Facebook Game, App
Panini America officials are bringing the wild popularity of the company’s sold-out 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Prizm trading card set to the virtual arena with the launch this week of a Facebook game and iPhone app that will give fans and collectors from around the globe the opportunity to get in on the Prizm craze.
The virtual edition of Panini America’s 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazi Prizm set includes 330 total virtual cards, including 201 regular player cards, 30 Captains (rare), 49 World Cup Stars (very rare) and 50 Virtual Signature cards (very rare). The Facebook version of the game is free to play; the iPhone version can be purchased on the iTunes App Store but includes free daily refills of game currency; the in-game currency can be used by players to acquire World Cup Prizm packs to continue building their digital collections.
Fans and collectors can start their official 2014 FIFA World Cup Prizm collections now and endeavour to use their decks to challenge other fans in the game’s battle arena.
“Our 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Prizm trading card set has been the most successful sports card release of the year and that success has a lot to do with the huge international appeal of the FIFA World Cup and the players who star in it,” said Jason Howarth, Panini America Vice President of Marketing. “It’s that same international reach that will drive the demand for the product’s partner iPhone app and Facebook game.”

200 cards
This is the third year that Panini have been running this promotion. Cards are distributed in two-card packs and intended as hobby shop incentives to be given out during the Father's Day weekend. There is no set format for shops to give away the cards. It's likely shops will award a set number of the special packs when specific Panini boxes are purchased.
The promo set of 24 cards includes baseball, basketball, football and hockey. The 2014 Panini Father's Day base set has 24 cards.
Besides the four major North American sports, the promo set also has exclusive 2014 Panini Prizm World Cup Soccer cards numbered to 7. I don't know yet if all the cards in the base set are included in this Limited Edition version. I think they are Silver Parallel (well, I think it's Silver, could be Platinum I suppose - no confirmation yet from Panini. The front of the card is stamped "Panini - Limited Edition".
