Hi Alan, I have come across another 'cut-out' series from the Wizard comic which is similar to the 'My Home Team' series. Again only the two shown are known. This is from the Wizard dated 13/06/1970.

I have just come across the Rostron postcards of Leeds players on your blog. I had four of these recently, bought as part of an auction lot described as Huddersfield cards. I have subsequently sold three of them on eBay but still have one left, the attached picture of Bill Menzies.
I have also included a scan of the other one that I sold, the one which you haven’t got there. Unfortunately it has my ‘watermarking’ across it so that no-one could simply steal the image.
In addition there is a postcard of Tom Mitchell, also by Rostron, although in a different series and photographer. This also bears my mark!
The Bill Menzies card is available for sale at £20.00 including postage and packing. If anyone is interested, please let me know and I'll pass you on to Roger.

Ryan Giggs
Merlin/Topps, Panini
Graham Bruton has sent in some scans of some additional Ryan Giggs stickers from Merlin's Premier League 95 collection (not to scale). A composite of two stickers and a larger than normal sticker.
Recently you did a nice piece on Ryan Giggs. There are a couple of more Merlin pictures which I didn't notice. The larger sticker is from Merlin 95 and is of course the same photo as the normal sticker. I think you had to send off for these but we're only available in a frame (you could choose the 11 players that you wanted to have framed), hence the back is plain.

Only 20 of each card was produced and 9 of the 30 cards were personally autographed by the player/personality featured. Initially, they were offered, exclusively, to Football Postcard Collectors Club members as complete series, then individual sets and later a very few sets were split-up and sold singly.
