Owners, Jockeys, Footballers, Cricketers - Series 2
Cohen, Weenen & Co.
52 cards (9 Footballers)

I will be uploading the Series 3 checklist soon. In fact, by the end of this month I should have included illustrations and checklists for all the football sets issued by cigarette/tobacco companies in the U.K., including all the odd quirky sets that just include one football card, no matter how obscure. I have also included the C.B. Fry card here, because of his links to Southampton.
UPDATE (18-02-2024 15:06):  Thanks to a comment below, it seems that Lewis (Leicester Fosse) is actually Archie Ling who was the Leicester Fosse goalkeeper for three season between 1902-03 and 1904-05. He later went on the play for Swindon Town and Brentford as well as cricket for Cambridgeshire.

J. Ashcroft (Woolwich Arsenal)

Clawley (Southampton)
Cooch (Northampton Town)
Eggett (Tottenham Hotspur)
J.S. Fryer (Fulham)
Howes (Queens Park Rangers)
Lewis (Leicester Fosse)   -   probably Archie Ling
, Leciester Fosse goalkeeper 1902-05
J. Robinson (Millwall Athletic)
Whittaker (Reading)
C.B. Fry (as cricketer) (Southampton)

Cohen, Weenen & Co. ~ Sweetcrop Cigarettes - Actresses, Footballers & Jockeys

1905

Actresses, Footballers & Jockeys
Cohen, Weenen & Co. ~ Sweetcrop Cigarettes
40 (20 footballers)

Very rare cards, I'm not sure which clubs some of these players played for at the time the cards were issued. If anyone has any further information I will gladly update this article as and when anything is forthcoming.

UPDATE (18-11-2015): Jon Farrelly has provided some additional information about this collection....
Hall is Aston Villa in the away kit and I am pretty certain that Hampton is Harry Hampton of Aston Villa but have not seen the card also I have not seen Spencer (Aston Villa) either. I do have the others on Aston Villa. This set was probably not issued until 1905 due to the the away kit photos not been taken until 1904/05 season and all the Villa players were members of the 1905 F.A. Cup winning team.
UPDATE (15-01-2016):  Date amended, see the comments below.
UPDATE (11-12-2019 16:43):  Carl Wilkes has provided scans of two more cards. If you are looking for cards from this collection then there's probably just Carl's websites that might help - www.rarecards.co.uk and  www.footballsoccercards.com.

1900

Celebrities ~ Cricketers, Footballers & Jockeys

22 (7 footballers)

There are over 250 cards in the complete set, but the sporting personalities are usually listed as a sub-set. These cards can be found in two versions, as detailed below. All the cards are very rare. There are really only six footballers in the collection, C.B. Fry is included even though he appears as a cricketer. He was a famous all-rounder who also player football for Southampton.
