A set of Bolton Wanderers cards isued in the early 1920s has come to light. The text on the back makes reference to 'red tickets' and 'this series, numbering thirteen in all' but I don't know if that relates to the football cards or not.
Whiteheads department store was situated on the corner of Crown Street and Deansgate in Bolton.
