Andrew Rowley has just added the A. Wilson cabinet card shown on the right, to his collection. This Chelsea version is unrecorded. Card images are shown to scale.
Andy Wilson joined Dunfermline Athletic for the start of the 1919-20. They played in the independent Central Football League, outside the jurisdiction of the Scottish Football League. After the 1920-21 season the Central Football League was absorbed by the Scottish Football League as it's Second Division. All the players were sent back to the clubs they played for in 1919. This meant Andy Wilson returned to Middlesbrough for the 1921-22 season. In November 1923 he joined Chelsea and ended the 1923-24 as both clubs' top scorer and both clubs were relegated.
