It has always been assumed that the players and badges printed on the collectors card were never issued but Nigel at CardHawk has come across a Kerry Dixon / Chelsea Badge pair that is a winning combination, which would earn the holder 50p. It now seems likely that the six players and six badges were probably issued but were all part of winning pairs and surrendered at source. I don't think anyone would turn down a free 50p in the early 1980's (it would be worth about £2.00 today).
