This 'Big Run Cigars' box was produced around 1889 and features a number of illustrations based on the two World's Champions card sets issued by Allen & Ginter.
"Big Run" is burned into top, and there is a beautiful coloured label with six portrait images from the N28 and N29 card sets, attached to the inside of the lid. The portraits are Buck Ewing, Buffalo Bill Cody, Percy Stone, L. E. Myers, James Albert and Jacob Schaefer. The box measures 8½" x 2¼" x 5". This one sold for $705.60.
