Well, it might be... the pre-release image of this card actually shows Mark Hudson, who retired from playing in the summer. Thanks to bibster who spotted this error. It's quite possible that when the collection is released later this week the Tommy Smith card will actually show Tommy Smith, but it's something to watch out for come Thursday. Thanks to footycards.com for providing the image.

My son got this tonight and was very disappointed as Tommy Smith is one of his favourite players. Hudson (now Town's U23 coach) sadly didn't have a speed rating of 86 - 68 would be closer...
ReplyDeleteIt is a strange mistake to make and they don't seem to have made an updated card. Mark Hudson never had any pace with us either, but you couldn't fault his commitment and determination, that's why he was our captain.
