Sweetule were a Manchester company but this set seems a little top heavy with Scottish content. I suppose one-club collectors should be looking to get both cards as the answer to each question appears on the following card, except for the question on card no. 25 can be found on card no. 1.

DeleteAm I right in thinking these cards must have been produced around summer /autumn 1958 as Graham Leggat of Aberdeen in the picture signed for Fulham on 16/8/58. The card refers to him playing for Dons.
ReplyDeleteIf he signed for Fulham in August 1958, 1959 is probably the right date for when this collection was released. It probably took at least 6 months from concept to release. 1959 is the year accredited by the Cartophilic Society of Great Britain , it would have been recorded in their bi-monthly journal.
