Football cards and stickers issued around the world, from the 1880's to the present day and even some that haven't been issued yet. I don't have any cards for sale, nor do I provide valuations, this blog is just a means of passing on information I have gathered over many decades of collecting. Alan Jenkins.

ReplyDeleteRather than a marketing ploy could it be that a sheet of cards missed a process when being printed? I have some non-sport cards where that has occurred and I have also seen some printed sheets where that has happened.

Hi John,
DeleteI was in a bit of a cynical mood, there seem to be so many of these cards this season. I know it's not uncommon for sheets to miss out in the printing process. I've got some scans pf cards from the 1950s that have missed out on one of the colours in the printing process. Tomorrow I intend to show one of the crinckle-cut A&BC cards from the 1970s that missed the crinckle-cut process.
