  1. Hi Alan, number 44 is Graham Shaw (Sheffield Wednesday/England) and is shown in blue and white stripes, however, this is an error from the manufacturer. He only every played for Sheffield United. cheers, Paul

    1. Hi Paul,

      I compiled this list over decades not years and in the early days I wasn't too bothered about being accurate with the way the players names and teams were spelt. I'd love to go through the whole set and make sure everything is correct, word for word. Graham Shaw's colours weren't the only one that they got wrong. John Charles in blue and yellow stripes is another example. I know Leeds played in blue and yellow in the 1950's but I don't think they ever played in striped shirts. An illustrated checklist of this set would be worth seeing.
