1958
Brasil Campeão Mundial Futebol 1958
Editora Aquarela
Brazil
24 cards
A complete sheet of perforated cards for this collection, listed here in the order they appear on the sheet.
You'll find information about the 1974 reprint here - Edicoes 7 Cores - Campeonato Mundial de 1958 (Mini Album 1)
(UPDATE (31-08-2015): Gregory Graetz has informed me of a number of variations for this collection, with the numbers on the back printed in blue or black and a mini 'stamp' parallel version too. Two have been added above - Didi and Orlando.
UPDATE (02-07-2021 09:30): I have been sent a link to a recent Goldin Auctions lot in a comment below, which seem to indicate the black printing came first. You can read more here - Editora Aquarela - Brasil Campeão Mundial Futebol 1958 (02).

I've been told that one of those variation (Blue numbers or Black numbers cards) was printed not in 1958 but later and it makes that variation less valuable. Would you confirm/comment that?
ReplyDeleteI am not familiar enough with this collection to know that, if it can be confirmed that the black variation is a later reprint, I will be happy to update the checklist. Can anyone confirm whether this is correct?
DeleteI meant the blue is a later reprint
DeleteThis is from one of the largest auction houses - "It's worth noting that black numbers variations of the Aquarela rarely surface with it's counterpart, blue numbers, being slightly more available."
Can you provide a link?
DeleteI watched a youtube video by Epic Cardboard aka: elrey_collection

he said there was a reprint in 1974 that has more text on the back
Thank you, I'll have to try and find out more about that reprint.
