Football cards and stickers issued around the world, from the 1880's to the present day and even some that haven't been issued yet. I don't have any cards for sale, nor do I provide valuations, this blog is just a means of passing on information I have gathered over many decades of collecting. Alan Jenkins.

The Sketch
1
A little while ago I included an image of Miss Nettie Honeyball, Captain of the British Ladies' Football Club, in her Football Costume, taken from The Sketch. Here is another page from the magazine, this one dated 10 April, 1895.
The Sketch was an illustrated newspaper weekly, which focused on high society and the aristocracy. It ran for 2,989 issues between 1 February 1893 and 17 June 1959. It was published by the Illustrated London News Company. Agatha Christie had many stories printed in the magazine and The British Library holds a complete run of the publication.
