64 stickers
I've had e-mails and comments from Jose, Christophe and Raf regarding this set, plus a couple of anonymous e-mails. I must admit that I've spent so much time trying to work out who everyone is that I'm getting a bit 'bug-eyed', so I'm just going to publish this new list, some tie up with the previous listing and some don't, but hopefully this will get us a step nearer to finishing a complete and accurate checklist for this collection.
UPDATE (18-09-2016 21:17): Total stickers amended to 64, see comment below.

64. Crazy Football Logo
Football cards and stickers issued around the world, from the 1880's to the present day and even some that haven't been issued yet. I don't have any cards for sale, nor do I provide valuations, this blog is just a means of passing on information I have gathered over many decades of collecting. Alan Jenkins.

There's actually 64 stickers in this series, but sticker number 64 doesn't display a soccer player, but a logo from 'crazy football'.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteHello!!! I love this collection. I was 13 in 1998 and I glad to found this post!! I´m from Uruguay. I have almost the complete collection, only needed two to complette them all. I have pictures. I have to say that you have a lot of names wrong. For example:
ReplyDelete1- ALDAIR
2- CAFU. look: the caricature is right foot. Cafu was right footed.
3- DENILSON. Denilson was left foot. and other thing: he was the loan most expensive that year, thats the reason of the ticket of 1000000
4- RONALDO
5- ROBERTO CARLOS. ROBERTO CARLOS!!! LEFT FOOT. he was the player who kicked the ball with more power, thats the reason of the "bomb" in his leg. Romario was right foot.
I will send you a message on gmail.
Sorry for my english. Guillermo
Hi Guillermo,
DeleteThank you for your help, I've been trying to compile a checklist for this collection for nearly 20 years or it will be by the time the next World Cup comes around.
