USA
200+ cards (9 Footballers)

This painting of Landon Donovan was used for base set card #66 from the 2011 Goodwin Champions release. Cards 1-150 from the base set are the 'commonly seeded' issues, featuring top tier superstars from the various realms of sport featured. This piece was actually used to create an array of parallels from the base set (Mini, Black Bordered Mini, Foil Mini, Black Bordered Foil Mini #'d of 9 and Presidential Gold Bordered Rainbow Foil Mini #'d of 1) alongside an on-card Autograph insert, a Memorabilia insert (featuring a swatch of fabric derived from a game-worn L.A. Galaxy jersey) and a scarce Dual-Swatch Memorabilia insert. Donovan has signed this original painting in silver pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's five-step process. Don't miss your opportunity to own this one of a kind piece of Upper Deck memorabilia! The price is $749.99.
The checklist can be found here - Upper Deck - 2011 Goodwin Champions, showing seven of the Landon Donovan cards and many of the other football cards in the collection.

20,000+ cards

J. Baines was not the first to sell football and cricket cards in the North of England in the late 1880's but he was the most prolific and the business survived into the 1920's. I've always been interested in the various issuers and the businesses that took advantage of craze of collecting football and cricket cards. I thought I would delve into my database and shows some of these interesting cards from a bygone age.
This card is printed by J. Baines.
