This collection is one of the rarest of those issued by Monty Gum and it’s also their last football set. Whether that has something to do with the fact that these cards are rarely seen, I don’t know. There are 21 cards missing from the checklist. The cards are: 3, 6, 8 (Italy), 17, 19 (Austria), 32, 35 (Argentina), 49, 57 (Brazil), 84 (Scotland), 112 (United Arab Emirates), 126 (Belgium), 142 (Spain), 152, 157, 159, 163 (England), 181, 182, 188, 190 (Holland). They have plain backs and there are two sets of numbers on the front. The first identifies the sub-set and the second  is the cards number in the overall set. I’ve listed both, starting with the sub-set details:

Again, not really what I intended to feature in this blog. Just out in the United States is this years Goodwin Champions collection, a multi-sport set that also includes a diverse subject matter - art, cosmos, animal kingdom. These are the football (soccer) cards in the collection. The base set of 150 cards is also available as mini cards, and there are another eight variations of mini cards, including printing plates. I'll include illustrations of some of the memorabilia and mini cards later.
