255 cards

Graham Convey has sent in photos of another error card from this collection. Check out the area near the bottom left corner of the back of the card. One has the A&BC logo to the left of the word 'Footballer' but the other card doesn't. A number of cards are known to have the A&BC logo missing, but this is the only cards that can be found both with and without the logo.
UPDATE (04-08-2026 15:24):  Steve Hale has spotted further inconsistencies with this Bobby Moore football card (no. 242) which differs not only with or without the logo but also in the coin-rub box:

With logo: text only, no figure.
FACT: The Man. City v. Luton match was abandoned. City lost the replay
Without logo: figure shown.

Steve says there are other minor differences: the reverse text on the without logo version is printed in a heavier typeface, and the front has richer colouring.
I have tried to what is printed in each of the coin-rub boxes. Lots of trial and error to see if it was possible to reveal the hidden images and this is the best I could do.

242.  Bobby Moore (West Ham United) - with A&BC logo; Coin-Rub Box - text only
242.  Bobby Moore (West Ham United) - without A&BC logo; Coin-Rub Box - figure only
