Panini - Top Class 2024 (08) - Checklist

2024
Top Class 2024
Panini
270 cards

I have made a start at compiling a checklist. There are 135 base cards and 135 special cards. It's nice to see an inexpensive collection of proper trading cards. The backs usually feature another photo of the player plus additional information about him. It's only about 50% complete at the moment, I'll update it as and when new information is to hand. Holo Giants cards are unnumbered but are number here for reference purposes only (just a means of counting how many cards are listed!). There are at least 11 French players listed, if there are 11 for every team that would mean at least 132 Holo Giants cards would be available.
UPDATE (01-03-2024 13:40):  The checklist for cards numbered 136 to 270 is now complete.
UPDATE (01-03-2024 13:40):  The checklist is now complete, unless there are further Holo Giants to uncover. There are currently 37 listed.
UPDATE (07-03-2024 00:18):  In Hungary, most if not all of the cards featuring players representing Spain have been replaced by players representing Hungary. Thanks to a collector in Hungary, a list has been added at the end of the checklist, though it's not complete yet.
UPDATE (08-03-2024 23:00):  Thanks to a couple of comments from collectors, the list of Hungarian cards is almost complete.
UPDATE (09-03-2024 21:08):  The checklist for the Hungarian cards has been updated again and is now complete. Thanks again to Jürgen.
UPDATE (03-05-2023 17:42):  I originally listed the Hungarian cards at the bottom of this checklist, but I have since given the collection it's own place on my blog - Panini - Top Class 2024 (08) - Checklist - Hungary. A checklist for the South Korean version has been created, but it is a long way from being completed at this moment in time - Panini - Top Class 2024 (08) - Checklist - South Korea. Does anyone know of any other country-specific releases?

  11. Hi,

The Szoboszlai Holo Giant is not guaranteed in the Hungarian Starterpack.
Hungarian Starterpack contians 1 booster pack and 1 fatpack, so the Holo Giant cards are totally random. There is also a Roland Sallai Holo Giant for the Hungarian Edition.

    Best regards,
    Peter

  15. I just got a starter pack of this Top Class 2024 for my son as a gift. Neither him nor me never had an experience with the collection cards. I have a very naive newbie type of question:

what is the purpose of those Holo Giant cards? The starter pack has an album where you can keep all the numbered cards, but there is not even space for those Holo cards, but maybe i'm just missing something.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No, you're not missing something, I can understand your confusion. Panini and Topps create extra cards, like the Holo Giants cards and the various Limited Edition cards that are released across a lot of collections, but they don't consider them as being part of those collections. They are 'extra' cards and don't appear on official checklists provided by Panini and Topps. Usually, for the oversize cards, there is no place for them in the binders.
