Another batch of photocopies from the British Newspaper Archive relating to supplements given away with Ideas - the popular illustrated weekly and all these cuttings come from The Athletic News. Again I have to thank Chris Lee for his help with this research. The earlier issues of Ideas were published on Fridays and later ones on Thursdays. They seemed to start with just one team which I presume, was available everywhere, then they brought in a different one for Scotland and then another different one for Ireland. Later adverts refer to photographs being issued relating to different areas of England. This list has been updated with all the new information that has been gathered.
