Football cards and stickers issued around the world, from the 1880's to the present day and even some that haven't been issued yet. I don't have any cards for sale, nor do I provide valuations, this blog is just a means of passing on information I have gathered over many decades of collecting. Alan Jenkins.

Burton Series - The Old Football Ground, Luton (Postcard)
I see that the stamp was last issued in about 1910 which was the year Edward VII died but his stamps were still being used a lot later. In addition the addressee sadly had died in 1920/21 (her death recorded in the 1st Qtr 1921) according to a Family History website I looked at, all this dates the card to being at the latest 1920. The writer Harry P Pedley (born 1890 according to census returns) was a member of the territorial army by 1921 and had relocated back to Chelmsford and was well known there according to a description of his marriage in 1924. regards John
