Karol contacted me yesterday about the ratings for all the Man of the Match cards in the 2025-26 collection. It seems the numbers have been switched, defenders like William Saliba having better rating in attack than defense - 97 against 47 and players like Pedri having higher scores for defense than attack - 95 against 70. ReplyDeleteIt will certainly make game play more interesting using any of these cards as issued and if replaced with corrections even more so.

DeleteI must admit I'm not familiar with many of the players listed but you think someone at Topps would have noticed the mistake with some of the more famous players like Pedri, Bellingham, Saliba, etc.
we should observe if they will correct it.

Love your blog but I believe this was done on purpose. They're called 'man of the match wildcards', the wildcard signifying that their attack and defending ratings have been switched.
