Please excuse this little bit of self-indugance as this is not really a football item. Welshman Lynn Davies won the Long Jump Gold Medal at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo and I've just added this to my collection, as I discovered that the biography includes the fact that Lynn Davies used to play for Cardiff City as a youngster, before concentrating on his athletics career. I've known about this link to the club I've supported since a boy, but was surprised to see it in black & white in a Swedish magazine. I think it makes a quirky addition to my collection. I've included scans of both sides of the sheet that was the back page of issue number 12 from 1965.
