These Fire cards usually come in batches of six, so it came as a surprise to find this card for sale late yesterday, it was late when I spotted it but I've no idea when it went on sale. This is the seventh card in the fourth wave of Match Attax Fire cards - Borussia Dortmund 's Erling Haaland, but by the time the card is announced he'd already signed for Manchester City. Haaland also features in Wave 2. The cards are designed by Tyson Beck.⠀

Typical money grab from Topps - release a card of a player they've already featured in the Fire Cards series, and of a player with a transfer to another club already announced so this card is just about out of date already. Not cheap either - to get the card you had to buy £25 of way out of date and virtually useless Match Attax cards from last August's launch. Email notification sent by Topps at 19:43, it took the offer about 2 hours to sell out.
ReplyDeleteAgree totally. If they hadn't released the card yesterday it probably would never have been released. The artist would have had to photoshop a Manchester City kit on him. And why price it at £25!!!
