The Herbert Kilpin is a pub in Nottingham named after the man who, along with Alfred Edwards, founded the Milan Foot-Ball and Cricket Club in 1899. In 1919 the club changed its name to Milan Football Club and in 1939 the name was italianized to Associazione Calcio Milano. After the war the club amended the name to Associazione Calcio Milan, dropping the 'o' to revert to the English version of the city name in honour of the two Englishmen who founded the club.
