San Diego Sockers are and indoor football club currently playing in the Major Arena Soccer League. A pack of 18 cards were distributed at the home game against Tacoma Stars on 22 December, 2019. The cards are designed by Travis Peterson, he created a retro look that dates to the 1978 Topps baseball cards. The card backs are really impressive. Laid on light tones of blue and gold are biographical information, last season’s stats and a wonderful touch of nostalgia - artful and whimsical illustrations accompanied by a fun fact. For cost reasons, the packs were be distributed to fans in plastic bags. The 'cover' card of the pack notes, '18 Trading Cards, Zero Sticks of Bubble Gum' and is designed to look like a gum wrapper. A total of 1,500 sets were distributed at the game and there are autographed cards in about two-thirds of the packs, the front office handed out 108 cards for each player to sign.
