27 cut-outs

Richard Small has provided some illustrations showing a few more of these cut-outs. I originally had these marked down as an unknown issuer but I think it is safe to assume that the newspaper must be the Manchester Evening News, going by the teams featured so far. Please get in touch if you can fill in any of the gaps. Unfortunately the Charlie Mitten cutting is missing the title and number but someone has numbered it in pencil and it was positioned in a sequence of cut-outs from no. 18 to 25. No. 22 is numbered at the beginning of the short biography, similar to no. 25.
UPDATE (23-02-2020 15:29):  Bob Thomas has provided a lot of information about these items. The format changed slightly from the next issue so the list for those will follow in a separate post, so this list is now complete.
