D.C. Thomson / Scoop - Sportstar Record Card (03)

1978-81
Sportstar Record Card
D.C. Thomson / Scoop
160+ cut outs

Richard Small has provided this list of collectable cut-outs. Earlier ones were printed in colour, but many of the later ones are just black & white. They are unnumbered and the numbers refer to the issue number of the magazine they appeared in and there are five footballers listed at the end of the index whose issue numbers are not known. A checklist for the 1978 issues (numbers 1 to 50) can be found here - D.C. Thomson / Scoop -  Sportstar Record Card. Unfortunately this list isn't complete - about 40 missing, if you can help fill in any gaps please get in touch.
UPDATE (12-09-2020 00:26):  Brian has been able to fill in many of the gaps, some issues didn't include Sportstar Record Cards.

120.  The Scoop Focus was a 2 page colour special poster and interview with Tony Fitzpatrick (Bristol City) but no Sportstar Record Card was printed for him, so it's debatable whether he became a member of the club or not.   The previous week's Joe Corrigan pages just say 'Next week - Scoop interviews Bristol City's Tony Fitzpatrick' so although the feature on him in issue 120 is identical to that of every other member, apart from the lack of a cut-out record card, at no point did the magazine themselves ever refer to him joining the club.   -   added 12-09-2020
