Football cards and stickers issued around the world, from the 1880's to the present day and even some that haven't been issued yet. I don't have any cards for sale, nor do I provide valuations, this blog is just a means of passing on information I have gathered over many decades of collecting. Alan Jenkins.

6 cards
When you are based in Liverpool and have just produced a set of five cards to go along with a new book about Liverpool cigarette cards it's understandable that the next project would be something similar for the blue half of Liverpool. deCoubertin Books have just published a fascinating biography of Tommy (T.G.) Jones, Everton's centre-half in the years before and after the Second World War. The first 200 copies of The Prince of Centre-Halves: The Life of 'T.G.' Jones ordered directly from the publishers will receive a special set of 6 cards. The artist is Tim Godden, who was responsible for the artwork of the Liverpool cards. The players featured on five of the cards was announced when details of the card set were made known. The publishers drew up a shortlist of five other Everton legends to be voted on by fans, with the winner to feature on the sixth card. Paul Chauveau informed me that the choice was between Alan Ball, Neville Southall, Alex Young, Duncan Ferguson and Bob Latchford. The book costs £15.99 and can be ordered directly from the publishers - deCoubertin Books.
