    1. Hi Bjørn,

I've been collecting football cards for over 60 years and I've always had these Topps cards listed like this. I have always beleived that they were produced in the season that's listed on the card backs without any stats against them.
And Topps is still doing it. We are already a couple months into the 2024/25 season and Topps is still releasing collections for the 2023/24 season.

      Kind regards,
      Alan

  2. By all means, Alan :-) I know what you mean.. But looking at the transition between A&BC and Topps cards. Topps bought A&BC and continued the "footballers" set into the 70's..

You have 2 sets listed from 74/75... This was the last year A&BC made the "footballers" set. Topps launched the next year.. You have them both listed at the same year, even if Topps continued their first "footballers" set the year after A&BC stopped.. ( These two years were my first 2 years at school ;-), so I remember)
So I still think you are one year early on the Topps Footballers sets :-D :-D

    Best Regards
    Bjørn
