Promotional caps were issued before the main set was released. These promotional caps are easily identified as all the fronts have a white border. As well as caps the packets also included a 'slammer', one of 20 foil badges (for attaching to the slammer) and one of 20 paper checklists - one for each club.
The first two row show regular caps, the third row shows three of the promotional caps, the fourth row is of two of the slammers with foil badges attached. The fifth row shows a foil badge sheet and the last row shows two of the paper checklists. I have also included details of a sheet of four caps but I can't find my scan. It's the only sheet I know of, but there may well be others.
